Who we are
Fumigadora Humboldt, S.A. (legal entity: Corporation Humboldt Inc., S.A.), with offices at Av. Justo Arosemena, Calle 26 & 27, Edificio Poli, 1st floor, Offices G1 & G2, Panama City, is responsible for the personal data we collect through this website, the customer portal (My account), and our customer service channels.
This policy explains what data we handle, why, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights under Panama's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 81 of 2019).
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number.
- The addresses and details of the properties we service (property type, area, approximate size).
- Service history: visits, reported pests, notes, and warranty reports.
- Quotes, contracts, invoices, and payments, including any billing details you give us (legal business name, RUC, or ID number).
- If you sign in with Google: your name and email address, which Google shares with us with your permission. We never see your Google password.
- If you turn on Face ID, fingerprint, or a passkey: we only store a public key that identifies your device. Your face, your fingerprint, and your private key never leave your phone or computer.
How we use it
- To provide, schedule, and follow up on the pest control services you request.
- To prepare quotes and contracts, send invoices, and record your payments.
- To reach you by WhatsApp, phone, or email about your visits, quotes, payments, and reports.
- To meet our health, tax, and business obligations to Panamanian authorities.
We won't use your data for any other purpose without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us run our business, and only for that purpose:
- Supabase, which hosts the database and sign-in for the customer portal and our internal system.
- Vercel, which hosts and serves this website.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
- WhatsApp, when you message us or we message you through the app.
We may also disclose data to a government authority when the law requires it. Some of these providers may store information on servers outside Panama.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you're a customer or have an active account. After that, we keep only what's required (such as invoices and service records) for as long as Panama's tax, business, and health regulations require. Once that period ends, we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Under Law 81 of 2019, you can exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: find out what data we have about you and how we use it.
- Correction: fix data that's incomplete or wrong.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your data once it's no longer needed, except for records the law requires us to keep.
- Objection: object to a specific use of your data.
- Portability: get a copy of your data in a commonly used format.
How to exercise your rights
Email us at adm.fumigadorahumboldt@gmail.com from the address linked to your account (or include enough information for us to verify who you are) and tell us which right you'd like to exercise. We'll respond within the time frames set by law. You can also view and update much of your information yourself under Profile in My account.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact Panama's National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
Browser storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The customer portal uses your browser's local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember whether you've already answered the Face ID prompt on that device. Signing out or clearing your browser data removes it.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections and access rules, so each customer sees only their own information and each member of our team sees only what they need to do their job.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with its updated date.
