Risk
They transmit dengue, Zika, chikungunya and malaria, among other diseases. Aedes aegypti, the dengue vector, lives near homes and bites during the day.

Water containers, tyres, plant pots, roof gutters, drains and vegetation.

Without removing standing water, any treatment is short-lived.
